Yes I am recapping a running streak!
39 days of running at least a mile a day. Starting Memorial day and ending on the 4th of July.
I thought piece of cake, I can run at least a mile a day, I have to take the dogs for a walk anyway.
However I am in the midst of training for my next marathon. Rest days are important.
Bottom Line: This is a great idea if you run maybe 15 miles tops in a week, or are looking for a challenge, but the rest days are important, (wait, didn’t I say this) I would not advise pushing it during marathon training. This is a good way to get injured.
Currently looking forward to having my 2 rest days back each week as I ramp up my mileage.
