A YEAR IN REVIEW
I am late to recapping 2016, and you already know I ran a marathon a month, and I ran all the Bibrave races. However I also ran many other races, and logged quite a few miles. I also like to write up a post, just so I know… helps me set new goals and I know what I am capable of doing.
In 2016 I ran a total of 1474 miles, this highlights my streak of running at least 100 miles per month. I kept track on dailymile and recently moved my stats to Strava…you can follow me if you like – https://www.strava.com/athletes/17679166
I also ran 40 races, 2 unofficial races and a relay. Those races took me from Louisiana, Colorado, Virginia, Tennessee, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Oklahoma. I met the friends that live in my phone and even met new ones as I ran.

As you might have read before, I am not sure where or what 2017 holds for me. I started if off with a half marathon, which had me thinking I should work towards improving that time…but only because I am thinking Dopey 2018 and I need the best corral placement I can get. I also thought about trying to see how many races I can run in a year. I also thought about upping my game and trying to run mostly Iowa races.
All I do know… I love running… it pushes me…it inspires me… and I will continue to run until I can’t.
