100 Miles 2021 -Thank You

100 Miles in November Wrap up 2021

We made it! Thank you for joining the 9th year of 100 Miles in November. I can never do this without the support of everyone that joins.

I always like to look at the numbers at the bottom of the mileage sheet just to see the amazing work that everyone has put in. We logged over 8,000 miles in one month. One random number that I noticed, on November 12th we logged the least miles on one day. Thanks again to the person who added this feature years ago.

This last week I encouraged another timed mile. I was not looking forward to this, but I trekked over to the track and gave it my best. I was surprised that it was just a few seconds slower than the beginning of the month. I like to challenge myself every now and then, I am not sure I will throw this in every month, but I see those who keep this as a part of their running routine.

The other note about the last few days, I am still surprised that the fire hydrant continues to be the popular item to find while out and about. Last year we learned that they can be different colors, this year after sighting one near a pile of leaves I want to remind people to keep the area around them clean. Strange what things turn into. Who knows, next year is the 10th year, maybe the task will be to find 10 of them in one run.

Ok, now the information you have all been waiting for, the prizes!!! I have 2 pairs of Aftershokz, a $25 Zyia gift card, a Hawkeye 25k/50k entry and a Motor Mill entry, drum roll please:
